The closest thing to PourPar that exists. Here is what they do better.
PourIQ’s website has been offline since at least September 2026. This page stays up for anyone still weighing the two; every PourIQ figure on it is the August 2026 read and may no longer be offered.
I am Henry. I am a bartender, I built PourPar, and I would like you to buy it, which is exactly why the first section of this page belongs to them. PourIQ is the competitor I take most seriously, because they are selling to the same person I am: an independent bar, not a restaurant group. Every PourIQ figure below comes off their own published pages, read in August 2026, and says so.
What PourIQ does better
You can open their demo without signing up. No form, no card, no call. That is the best thing on their site, and it is the same instinct behind PourPar’s demo bar, which is also live and also asks for nothing. A vendor confident enough to let you in before you are a lead is telling you something true about the software.
They were built by bar managers and they say so. That is a real trust spine and mine is thinner: PourPar was built by one bartender and has no published customer quotes yet.
They answer the lock-in question up front, before anybody has to ask it: no credit card, cancel anytime, take your data with you. PourPar takes a card for the trial, so I cannot match the no-card claim and I am not going to imply that I can.
They publish an ROI calculator and their own comparison table. A vendor willing to put its price and its rivals on the same page is arguing in the open, and I would rather be compared to that than to a quote form.
Their surfaced feature list is longer than mine. On the day you sign up, they show you more than I do.
The honest difference
We are close on buyer and far apart on job. That gap, and not the price, is the reason to pick one over the other.
- Counting first, against costing firstPourIQ is a bar inventory app. The job it is built around is knowing what is on your shelves. PourPar is built around what a drink costs to make: a syrup inside a cordial inside a cocktail, with the prep minutes priced into the pour, so a house orgeat costs what it actually costs to cook rather than what the bottle cost. Both of those are real jobs. They are not the same job.
- No AI in the mathThey lean on an AI suite. PourPar has none in the math: costs, pars and orders are plain arithmetic over your recipes, your prices and your sales, and any figure on any screen opens the lines it came from. A model touches exactly one thing here, reading a pasted spec sheet at import, and nothing lands until you approve the preview. If an AI suite is what you are shopping for, they have one and I do not.
- Pars that slide, and orders that build themselvesPars here move with the last four weeks of sales and cap at shelf life, so nothing is ever set above what will survive the week. The order sheet builds itself by distributor off those pars and goes out by email or text. Distributor ordering is not something PourIQ foregrounds, which is a statement about their marketing and not about their software. Ask them, the same way you should ask me.
- The price, and what it coversPourIQ publishes $75 a month per location (published pricing, August 2026). PourPar is $120 a month for the first bar and $15 for each other bar in the same house, up to 5. That is the smallest reason on this page to choose either one, and it matters most to a house running a lobby bar and a rooftop off one book.

Whether two bars in one building count as one location or two on their pricing is their call to make and not mine, so ask them before you do the arithmetic.
Who should pick PourIQ
These are not consolation prizes. If one of these is your situation, buy theirs.
- The thing that hurts is countingIf your Sunday night is walking the shelves with a clipboard and what you want is that job faster and less wrong, that is what a bar inventory app is built for and this is not one. PourPar holds an on-hand number on every ingredient and prep, typed in or imported. There is no barcode scanner in it, no scale, and no shelf-by-shelf count screen.
- You will not give a card to try softwareThey lead with no card and cancel anytime. PourPar shows you the whole app with no signup, but the trial itself puts a card on file. That is a fair reason to start with them.
- You want the longer feature list on day oneTheirs is longer than mine. I would rather you read that here than find it out in week two.
- Your drinks are not the complicated partIf the menu is spirit and mixer and the specs never move, the depth PourPar is built for is depth you will never use, and you should not pay for it.
Who should pick PourPar
Spec-driven cocktail programs. House syrups and cordials, batching, prep that takes real minutes, a menu you re-price and want the true cost of before you do. One to 5 bars under one roof, $120 for the first and $15 for each one after, 14 days free.
The first time a real twelve-drink book went through it, the engine caught fourteen yield errors and a double-counted bottle in specs that had been poured for months. That is the whole pitch: promoted people miss things, and arithmetic does not. If what you want is an answer rather than the arithmetic under it, none of that depth is worth paying me for.
